One of my favourite places on the Eastern coastline is Yamba. Numerous times have been spent at the caravan park, and this is a collage of leaves and seed pods found around us. Sealed with Titanium white and Paynes Grey acrylic…
A special place, numerous surfs, a pod of dolphins live around here, only salt water was used as a medium with this painting, along with ink, acrylic and sand. Painted en plein air.
A commissioned work, this now hangs in Sydney somewhere.
Sold at an auction to raise money for the Sea Shepard organisation.
Soaked the Paper in the ocean water in the cove at Point Arkwright, looked at the rocks before me and drew what I saw in Conté pastel. Took the work home and finished with Oil.
